I've been a student, a musician, a writer, an actor, an advertising person, a wife, a mother, a marathon runner, and a yoga teacher. I am the mostly vegetarian, occasional vegan, who just ordered a side of bacon.

To me, life is a mishmash of all of the above and more. It's an unpredictable, ever changing, adventure I call The Goodness.

The Goodness is also the name of this blog. It's my take on the combo of sweetness and mayhem that we all experience. On any day you'll find thoughts on how we might navigate it all, or maybe a story you can relate to about how it sometimes all falls apart. (Which happens all the flippin' time...)

Last summer, our family - two adults, two kids, one puppy -  traveled across the country on our Road Trip '16. It's almost a year later, and I'm still writing the stories. All together, we were on the road for about 7 weeks. I kind of feel like it's my version of Cheryl Strayed's Wild, but without the camping, without the walking, and without the solitude. But otherwise, it's totally like Wild....

So, welcome to the beauty and the chaos. Subscribe, read, comment, share. Let's do this thing together. Let's spread The Goodness.
